Description

1956 Chevy Pickup

Up for auction is a bitchin 1956 Chevy short bed pickup. This truck gets a ton of attention and it is hard to go anywhere in tit without being asked questions and people taking pictures! Lot of time and money invested in this truck, nd it is ready for someone to enjoy.

This truck was a frame off build with a nicely built boxed chassis. The truck has a nicely done FatMan Fabrications mustang II front end with rack and pinion steering and tubular upper and lower control arms. The rear has been 4 linked and step notched. All the welds are nice and the chassis work wasprofessionallydone. This is not a hacked up chassis or s-10 swapped truck. From the cab back, he frame was custom built with boxed tube.

The truck has fully adjustable air ride setup from air ride technologies that works perfectly. It has RideTech BIG RED electric valves, iar compressor, ideTech electric switches and a dual needle gauge.

The bed floor was done in oak, he trips and wheel tubs were painted to match the truck.

The truck has professionally done painted patina. This is not a cheap quick patina job. The entire truck was shot in DuPont base coat, hen the patina was painted, nd the truck was cleared afterwards. This is a very time consuming process and looks very realistic. The firewall, ash, nd inside of the bed were shot is gloss clear with the same color base coat.

The truck has new staggered Wheel Vintique smoothies, rapped with Coker wide whites. New chrome caps and polished trim rings were added.

The interior of the truck has been redone. It has a new banjo style steering wheel, ew column, ew door seals, ew windshield seal, ate model bench seat that has been redone, nd new chrome door handles and window cranks. It has new Dolphin gauges that all work just as they should. The truck has working headlights, aillights, arker lights, rake lights, nd turn signals.

Under the hood is a strong running 350 sbc with lots of new parts. It has finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. Shorty headers, luminum intake, delbrock carb, EI distributor, ew belts, oses, ulleys, uel pump, tc. The motor runs smooth and starts easy. The trans is a th350 turbo that shifts smooth and works as it should.

The truck has disc brakes in the front. The rear end is a later model GM.

I encourage any interested buyer to come see the car in person.
