This custom started life as a special order basic trim 150 2 Dr. Hardtop carrying some pretty interesting folk lore. Apparently it was initially ordered by a GM Engineer. the owner who had commissioned it's professional customization located it in Santa Barbara as a "basket case" where it had been in storage for more than 20 years. The body prep and paint were completed at "Foose's Ford" of Solvang. CA. modifications include removal of all side trim with the exception of one 150 spear. all wing tips chromed. shaved hood/deck/bumpers. drenched bumper bolts. flush mount headlights & taillights. reset license plate. remote doors/trunk and neon undercarriage lighting. Once complete it was treated to a deep coat of DuPont Bright Yellow. The chassis and suspension is all '57 utilizing "Fat-Man" 2 inch dropped front spindles.
