Description

1954 3100 5 window truck sitting on a 2003 S-10 chassis. The chassis has been updated with new shocks "air shocks on rear", " dropped spindles, ew springs on the front, " ford housing, .50 posi gear with new 31 spline axles. It's powered by a freshened 2010 LS-3 from Richard Childress's personal Camaro. I work at RCR and have been an engine assembler for over 30 years. I updated the engine with new pistons and rods, ew valve springs, ew valves. I Installed a GM front drive that allows me to run a distributor and mechanical fuel pump. The engine is running a 252/258 @.050 + 660/660 lift ECR ground camshaft. It's running a GM single plane intake manifold with a new 750 cfm Holley carb with a electric choke. It's a all aluminum engine with shorty headers. I disguised the engine as a hemi because everybody kept asking me what kind of engine it is because of the distributor, uel pump and carburetor. It's backed by a fresh TH400 with a new 3800 stall converter. The truck has a tilt wheel, ower steering, our wheel disc brakes and a brand new heat system. I built a set of tubular traction bars that work great. Truck has minimal rust as I replaced the floor boards and fabricated a new transmission tunnel to handle the big transmission. I switched the rear fenders for a set of 1951 Ford fenders as they are 2" wider than stock to handle the 20" Foose wheels. Tires and wheels are brand new also.
