This 1974 corvette stingray is one of few convertibles that came out of the factory in "Corvette Orange". This car was sold new in New York, SA and it crossed the border to Canada 25 years ago. The car came to Canada in 1991 and was undercoated 5 years in a row. In the last 25 years this car was garage kept, nd only driven on average 500 miles a year on nice summer days. This is a very original car, t has never been restored, r taken apart in any way. As you can see in the pictures, he frame and suspension look great. The car had orange with slight pearl repaint in New York back 25-30 years ago and it still looks great besides from a few small flaws. The Tan interior isdefinitely in amazing shape for its age, don't think there is a single thing that can be pointed out as a flaw. The chrome on the rims show very well and the tires are still in good shape as well.
This corvette comes with two tops, ne black soft top and the original orange hardtop. The black soft top in only a few years old and works great and folds up easily behind the seats. The hard top has rarely been used, nd is included in this sale. All the glass on the car is good and allgauges are in good working order, xcept the clock.
This car has a very nice rumble to it, t drives very nice and shifts good through the gears. The matching numbers V8 350 L48 motor has a nice idle, nd has had regular oil changes. The brakes work well, s well as all lights and signals. This car is a very nice example of the C3 corvette stingray and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
