I have for sale a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 turbo 400 4.11 12 bolt posi traction. I am selling this for a friend of mine. His father passed away at a young age of 45 years old and left him with a lot of cars and parts. We were saving this car to sell last. My friend wanted to keep the car as the memory for his father but he is only 22 years old and not mechanically inclined. This chevelle has a lot of money put into it. Everything on the car is new or rebuilt. The body of the car was purposely painted a flat black about 5 years ago. Body was rust free and still is rust free. This car was bought in the mid 1990's when everything in california was pretty much rust free. Keeping it covered kept it perfect! No panels have been replaced. It has a rebuilt 396 with 0 miles on it. We are uncertain of the internals and how much horsepower it has. You can pretty much guarantee it has 400 horsepower +. From what he remembers of his father talking about it, e are assuming 450hp at least. Brand new quick fuel technology carburetor as well. Please view pictures. Interior has all new parts and we believe is complete. Seats are newly recovered and the carpet kit is new in the box and I did see new looking door panels. There is a lot of parts in boxes. I personally ordered $1400 in stuff for the chevelle a couple months ago from Ecklers chevelle. List is as follows. All 4 marker lights,package tray,all door and trunk locks ignition and glove box with keys, ick panels,paint and lens gasket sets,SS chrome grille trim, ood pin kit,master body assembly kit, ill plates, iring diagrams, omplete front and rear window chrome trim. Also has two brand new bumpers still in boxe,s this is not included in the ecklers order. There are numerous other parts I could be forgetting to list. new driveshaft and 12 bolt gone thru. New rims and tires. Has disc brakes in the front. Suspension looks to have been rebuilt. Brand new grille and other front end componets new in box.
Overall the car a project car that still needs your assembly. We both do not know much about the car except what we see. The car wasn't suppose to end this way for this family. Concerning a real SS chevelle or not. There are numerous reasons why we are selling this car as a SS chevelle. We do not have any documentation of this.
