I've ownedthis carsince 2008. It's a solid, lean, ust free original paint car. I consider it as more or less a tribute car to if GM had gotten serious about Crossfire Injection performance in the 3rd generation Camaro. I had always wanted to find a clean LU5 Crossfire Injection car and add a free flowing, eriod correct exhaust and T5 manual transmission. And that's pretty much what I did here. The T5 used is a 1984 wide ratio unit with gear ratios which work perfectly with the stock 2.93 Posi rear end.
I've tried to use original, C Delco or period correct pieces wherever possible. Even the shifter ball was sourced from an '83 Z28, ith the stitching going up and down.
The restrictive exhaust has been replaced with factory L69 High Output exhaust manifolds, custom made 2.25" Y-pipe, oing into a 3" Catco High Flow cat, nto a real 3" intermediate pipe, nd a vintage, 80's SLP 2OTL muffler. Car sounds and runs awesome.

The car runs awesome, ots of fun to drive and have driven it long distance and is very reliable. AC blows ice cold.
It is an original paint car and has multiple door dings. It could use new T-Top seals and window sweeps.
Approximately $10,000 invested.
Separately, also have some very rare and hard to find parts I bought for this car. The last ever in the world, orrect, FI hood insulation molded with the aluminum backing, till in the original GM box. New and unused blue GM front floor mats. I searched for years to get these, aven't seen any since and have never installed them. I saw new GM floor mats in the common black color on ebay for $500 last month. How much are these super-duper rare blue ones worth? Your guess is as good as mine. Complete, lue Lear Siegler Conteur interior, ncluding nice door panels - which I had to pay through the nose for. Front seats need to be re-upholstered and I have purchased enough "CAMARO" fabric to do them. I don't have the blue bolster fabric, hough.
This is a cool, un car, ut it's also 32 years old and shows some wear. Let me know if you have any questions. Car currently has 106K miles on it.
