1988 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado Short Wheelbase 2WD
Fuel injected 5.7 V8, 00R4 auto trans. The odometer shows 203,xxx miles butI was told by the previous owner that the engine and trans had been replace approximately 20,000 milesago, owever I have no paperwork or proof of that. The truck runs and drives great. Everything works as it should. No warning lights on the dash. All lights, ignals, auges, nterior lights, elay wipers, ower windows and locks work perfectly. Ice cold A/C. Flowmaster dual exhaust. New Goodyear tires on chrome wheels. New radiator, ater pump, GR valve, 2 sensor, nd recent full tune up including all filters and oil change.
The paint is faded (I was told the truck came from Florida). But the body is very straight and solid. There is one small rust spot on the cab corner, hown in the pictures. Under the truck is extremely clean and rust free. There are only a few small dings on the truck. However there is a dent under the rear window, hown in the pictures, here it looks like something slid forward in the bed. There is also a dent in the back bumper, hown in the pictures. All glass is good. The doors open and close perfectly. The interior is in good condition except for some wear on the driver's side of the seat, hown in the pictures. And it needs a headliner.
This would be an excellent truck for a restoration project. All it really needs is a nice paint job and it will be a very nice truck. Or it would make a great work truck or first vehicle for a teenager. I would trust it to drive anywhere. It will cruise down the highway at 80mph all day long. It is very reliable and always starts right up. It will come with a full tank of gas, eady to drive home. If you have any questions or would like any other information, eel free to call or text any time @ 812-457-2668. The truck is also listed for sale locally so if you're really interested I suggest using the"buy it now" option. The reserve is very very low. Thanks for looking and good luck!
