For sale is a stunningly frame off restored 1971 Cheverlet Monte Carlo.It is 1 of 80 built in 1971.Its has its original 402 big block engine and M20 4 speed transmission. The restoration was completed in the spring of 2005. This car was featured in Hemming Muscle Machines magazine August 2006 issue. The car has approximately 7500 miles since being restored. There have been 4 owners. The documentation of this car is amazing. The original owner kept a log of every time the vehicle was fueled up and serviced.Other documentation includes the original order sheet, rotecto plate, nd original keys and much more. The engine was rebuilt with a .010 overbore, he heads were ported and polished, nd three angle valve job performed. Engine performance was upgraded to an Edelbrock Performer intake, omp Cams Extreme Energy XE274H cam with shorty headers with 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust with X pipe.

The original paint was GM Code 49 Antique Green but changed during the restoration to a darker GM Saturn Green. The dark green is a base coat/clear coat with a slight metallic hue whichhas a mirror like finish that is far better than the original. The perfection continues to the underside as well, ith the correct factory markings and decals. The original interior was changed from green to black and is in show room condition. The instrument cluster was also upgraded to an SScluster. All mechanical systems work as they should.The A/C blows cold(converted to 134a), ower windows were also added during the restoration and work like new,and even the 8 track works. The suspension is all new or restored and runs, rives, hifts,and stops like new.
