Description

I found this car in a warehouse in westernPennsylvania. Thecar was in storage for over 25yrs. It is a numbers matching original car. The car is running on the original recently rebuiltdrive train including rebuiltEngine, Rebuilt Carb, rebuilt transmission. The original Radiator has been upgraded to a four core, retaining the original upper and lower sections with the date stamp. Entire fuelsystemhas been replaced with new fuel pump, fuel tank, lines, & hoses. The front & rear suspension has been fully rebuilt w/new ball joints & all 4 shocks. The complete front steering has been replaced including tie rods, links & bushings. (steering box is original) New Whitewalls tires has been instaled. The entire electrical system has been completely replaced w/new 'Painless' system, which includes wires, switches, connectors, fuse box, relays, ect. Ignition system has been replaced with an updated Pertronix FlameThrower III distributor, and Generator has been replaced with a more reliable Alternatorsystem. Front Drums have been replaced to disc. Hydraulic brake system has been upgraded to Booster w/Duel bowl master cylinder. All brake lines, hoses, rear wheel cylinders, rear shoes, ect. have been all replaced. Vehicle has been lowered, using lowering spindles & lowered rear leaf springs. A rear shock tower brace has been installed.I added 'period' scallops and pinstripping by 'Wetcoats' . I replaced the interior panels, carpet, and headliner. The seats have been serviced, cleaned, and cushions have been replaced. This IS a great driver, and it was built to be driven with reliability, while still looking period. The car runs great, does not overheat, and starts every time. And although the car has been lowered, it does not 'bottom out', and drives very smooth. I replaced much of the rubber weatherstripping. Please Notice how the rear hatch on THIS Nomad closes flush with the body. (most nomads over the years havedeveloped large gaps in the upper portion of the glass hatch, andextremelycostly repair, this car DOES NOT have this issue).
