The cons- the usual- dings and scratches here and there from grocery store parking lots and pulling out of the garage. Also, the original Caprice aluminum rims were faded and peeling, which they will do after 20 years if they aren’t regularly cleaned and polished. So I removed them. The pros- mileage has been kept down, beautiful interior, regularly serviced, well taken care of, and not driven hard.
It’s evident this has been a well maintained car, it rides great, handles great, and shifts great. And it’s quite obvious the 5.7L 350 LT-1 engine is barely broken in. Has many newer parts, this Caprice is ready to go anywhere. You could drive this car home. Tires are good, brakes are a year old and very strong, complete factory duel exhaust with mufflers front to back less than a year old, new water pump 3 months old, K&N Cold Air Intake, and fresh fluids. Rides straight down the road, quietly, and needless to say, the car is FAST. Floors, doors, and frame are solid, clean, and strong. There is no evidence of smoking ever, the interior is near new. Still has owners manual, and even the“Introduction to Your New Chevrolet Caprice" Cassette Tape! This is a great car, and it deserves someone who appreciates these cars. I just have too many cars, including 2 1996 Impala SS’s, so I can’t justify keeping a 1994 Caprice, eventhough I really want to because it’s such a well optioned, nice, original example of one, which is becoming hard to come by. Check the completed listings here on ebay and see how many have been offered recently with a LT-1 motor, and under 100k miles... barely any. Clear title in hand. 585-520-2440.
