Just in time for some fun summer driving!
I have owned the car since late 1999 and I'm the 4th owner. The previous owner was a mechanic and he did a partial restoration. I did some major upgrades including new paint in 2006, details below. The car has been garage kept since I have owned it and has not seen any rain or snow. I bought it with around 75k miles and have added less than 11,000 in over 17 years.
1972 Steel City Grey with black interior.
It’s a great color that looks greyish green and shines real nice.
Although the car looks like the standard 350 – 200 HPs, due to the major upgrades, it’s a beast under the hood with estimated HPs over 350! The engine block and the Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transare original. Also the suspension has been upgraded with Billstein shocks front/rear, composite rear spring, adjustable front control arm cross bar, front sway bar, adjustable rear tie rods and urethane bushings.
Car was repainted and upgraded in 2006 when it had 79,700 miles.

Everything on the car works properly except the heater and the windshield wiper door opens but the synchronization is a little off with the wiper blades. The vacuum operated headlights pop open and close. Everything in the instrument panel works, even the clock. The Alpine radio lights up with a green tint and matches the green tint on the instrument panel, real cool!
The only things that I am aware of that require attention or needs to be updated:
- The heater doesn’t work
- Wiper door needs to be synchronized
- Weatherstripping should be upgraded and replace driver side pillar
- Re-chrome the bumpers
- There's some fading in the carpeting in the back
The car comes with a car cover, T-Top storage bags, original AM/FM radio, new steering wheel, floor mats, original owner’s manual and a folder detailing the above upgrades. Also a recent Experian AutoCheck report on the vehicle.
The car rides and drives real well. It sounds amazing, especially on the highway when you take it from 40 mph to >70 mph!
