This truck was formerly owned by the South Amherst, Ohio Fire Department. It starts, runs, and drives very well. It was used strictly as a brush fire truck. It was retired in January of this year and was kept inside until I picked it up. It has not been used much and I put the 19 miles on it. It was never used as a chase vehicle. It has been meticulously maintained throughout the years as it had to be ready to go anywhere at any time. All of the fire/rescue equipment has been removed from the truck. The most unique thing about this truck is that, the way it was built, it was not sold to the general public. It was sold strictly to government and municipalities only. It has full-time four-wheel drive with Hi-Lo range.There are a few minor scratches here and there, but it is 37 years old and has been to a few fires.Under the hood, this truck is about as clean as it gets! It appears as though some parts have been replaced in the recent past, such as the master cylinder for the brakes. It also has a dual-battery system and the batteries do not appear to be that old. The interior is clean and solid and everything works. There is a hole in the driver’s side of the seat. It comes with a new seat cover, which is also shown. The bed is very solid and has a sprayed-in bed liner. The underside is very solid, too. Notice the heavy-duty tow hooks! This is a rare find with the low miles this has!
