Description

1964 Bel Air

Up for auction is a clean 1964 Bel Air big block 4 speed.. This car looks, runs, and drives great! It has tons of new parts and ready for someone to enjoy!
This bel air was born a factory 4 speed posi trac 327. The car was driven for only a few years. In the late 60s it had an engine issue and was parked in a garage where is sat until just a few years ago. Lots of new parts and restoration work have been done in the past 2 years.
The 327 was removed and a rebuilt 348 big block was installed. The car has 409 emblems and a set of chrome 409 valve covers. The motor runs great and makes good power.
The original 4 speed trans shifts nice and the clutch feels good.
The interior is all new and looks great. It has new carpet, seats, door panels, headliner, package tray, new door handles and window cranks. The dash was repainted. It has working speedo, gauges, lights, wipers, heat, turn signals, indicators, etc. The radio was upgraded to a 300 watt Custom Autosound with ipdo and aux input. A set of custom Autosound kick panels with 6" speakers were installed. It has a working Sunlite tach.
The paint on the car is new and is nice and slick. This is a super solid car that spent its life in a garage away from the elements. Floor braces and body mounts are solid. Inner rockers are solid. It has new hood and trunk emblems, new door handles, hood molding, new wiper arms and blades. The bumpers are original and in nice shape for there age. No bubbles, blisters, or signs of rust anywhere.
It has a set of staggered width 15" rallys with new tires.
This is a pretty original low mileage car that hasn't been messed with too much. It has all its original glass including the windshield. It has its original sheet metal and appears to never have been wrecked. With the exception if the motor, the mechanicals are original.
This car runs and drives great! It goes down the road really well and feels good on the highway. It has alot of power and is fun to drive with the big block and 4 speed. It will smoke the tires all the way down the street. All the windows roll up and down smooth and the doors open and close nicely.
Overall this is a great car and is ready for someone to enjoy. It needs nothing, bump the key and go!
