Description

It runs awesome and i can answer questions because i built it. Dyno numbers are 604 tq and 554 hp at crank. The heads are ported. olished and gasket matched with 11/32 valves. I used 11/32 valves instead of 3/8 to remove weight from the valve system. The lower end is a four bolt main with all the rotating components forged and balanced. Its a solid roller setup using comp cam brand uppers and a lunati cam. Cam is 600 lift and 2. 5 duration at 50. The engine is . 060 over. so to be specific it is a 440. To keep it simple. the 700r4 has all the good stuff and i have no worries. The truck is a factory CST with all the good stuff as you can see in the glove box photo. (Note the engine) The paint work is awesome and i added a late model spare tire holder that can be lowered by a cable spool. The A/C has new lines and blows cold. I think i add a can of 134 every two years but maybe its every three years. About the 396 engine. I decided to spend the big money on the 427 i had vs the 396. If you want these items. I also have four more Rally wheels that will go with the truck and the factory hood. Hood has some damageAbout the 427 engine. The photos provided shows evidence of what it is. Note the external oil port plug above the oil filter and the small diameter balancer. On Apr-12-15 at 11:32:42 PDT. seller added the following information:I added a photo of the CST style seats in the fold down position. I had questions about the seat style and i remembered this was a rare option. The center also opens up for a storage area. The only way to receive this seat style was to purchase the CST. On Apr-12-15 at 12:23:23 PDT. seller added the following information:Had a question sent in about wheel base length. Note the original wheel base length in the glove box photo. On Apr-13-15 at 18:46:59 PDT. seller added the following information:I had a question asked about body filler. The truck is very straight and there is no big dents filled in. The trim holes were filled in but other than that you are looking at metal. Back story:The truck was owned by a man that passed away when the truck was still young and after that the truck sat in a barn. I hear his widow had a car and had no use for the truck. It sat in the barn till the 90s when the second owner purchased it. The second owner fixed her up and sold it to me after a few years. I think i bought the truck in 1997. I drove it every day for about 8 years but now its pampered. Kinda neat that it has only had two major owners. The dash pad and interior paint are the original due to its extended stay indoors.
