Description

UP for auction today is this bad ass little 1962 International metro-mite. Its a micro step van that looks like has held many different service jobs in its past. If your looking for something crusty to bag and slam this thing is it. The steel outer body has seen a few paint jobs. the sun and time are creating a very cool patina. It does has some rusty lower panels and other usual areas but there easily repairable. The interior is the same only a aluminum floor pan kit has been installed already. The box floor has been covered with wood but from underneath it looks pretty solid. The engine has been removed but its now set up for Chevrolet V8 engine. Could you believe this little micro had a 454 in it previously. A quick drop in of a small block and this thing is ready to cruise in a couple weekends All the front windshield and corner glass/seals are new. Sub frame and inner body structure look good. The Ansen slots wheels come with it. They all hold air. Bumpers all look good. Great project as these step vans are quite rare and very popular as patina customs and FOOD TRUCKS.
