eBay screwed up the last 12 hours of the sale and the item was unavailable to view and/or bid. We are running 3 more days to correct that error.. Someone bid but it never showed up per the bidder and our observation. eBay even verified the bid but it was not displayed, so to be fair, it is here till tuesday.1968 Chevelle Yenko Tribute car. Don Yenko was legendary for his upgraded Camaro's, Nova's, Chevelle's and Corvair Stingers. 1969 was the first year he transformed a Chevelle but the 68 is a much better looking tail and grille so offered here is what a 68 Chevelle Yenko would have looked like. I bought the car from Wyoming and I enjoy improving and selling them to enthusiasts who love the 60's muscle cars. Has a 468 big block Chevy, 4 speed Muncie 2.2, 12 bolt rear with 411 Richmond gears. Roller rockers, dbl. roller timing chain, solid lifters and just dialed in, Holley, MSD, 7 qt. oil pan, electric fuel pump, fuel cell in trunk 15 gal., aluminum radiator. Brand new Foose wheels and Nitto rubber. Interior is very nice and seems fairly new.
Here's what I have done to the car: new carpet, new gauges and they all work, added wipers and horns all new, plugs, oil filter, oil all new. 4 wheel power disc brakes from The Right Stuff and red powder coated. All brake lines new and emergency brake now works. Full buff out and polish/wax. I would rate the paint as an 8. No dents, no rust and the front floor pans had been replaced. It looks to me like both rocker panels were replaced before it was painted. Runs, drives, shifts great! Passed Mo. inspection 30 days ago. No speedo cable, has tach and runs 60 @ 2800 rpm. Climate controls are in dash if you want to add heater. Looks like all it needs is hoses. I am giving you a very detailed and honest account of the car. eBay can be full of surprises and this car was not even close to what was represented. Lesson learned. But I sell complete and good condition cars, it is my hobby. Please inspect or send someone to do so if you are uneasy about eBay. This is a nice, streetable muscle car and looks great at the shows. Real SS Chevelles are in the 40-50k range, this car gets more looks and conversation than any of those and at about half the price. Good luck and good bidding!
Update: this is a no reserve auction. The reserve price is $100 higher than the starting price. If she doesn't sell, that's it for the winter, to storage she goes! You will not find a better muscle car for the money anywhere. Deals like this don't come by often, so don't regret this opportunity later and let it get away. If you saw the car in the flesh, you will understand.
