Description

Up For your consideration is a our 1977 G20 Chevy Van. This classic gem was found in yellow paint. Therefor the only thing to do with it, was to make it a "Mooneyes Tribute Van". Having grown up in Southern California in the late 70s, and around the corner from Mooneyes. I remember my pops having atleast 5 vans in those years. Seeing those "wet dreams on wheels" left a lasting impression on a young boy. I have always loved early Vans. It is not your typical box van, due to the fact that we have children. I remember seeing the world out of ONLY the front windshield in theose van years. The kids love the amount of windows the G20 has. The drive train is a chevy V8, with the turbo 350 auto trans. It is highway geared.I have replaced the Front brakes, brake calipers, and rubber brake lines. It has a newer battery as well. The exhaust system is new from the headers to the functional Side Pipes. The rear tires have less than 200 miles on them. The paint is far from perfect, but in this case it works for that Barn Find "look". The yellow paint was buffed to a shine, and left as found. We lettered the sides and rear doors. The front doors are Vinyl. My son and i cut and varnished all the birch you see inside. The shag carpet is new, along with the rear section of laminate flooring for cargo storage. The windshield has a crack in it, and the dash has the usual cracking for a vehicle of this age. The over head console houses a pair of 5.5" speakers and a radio to run your Media Player. There is an amp installed as well running a Kicker 10" subwoofer. The sound system sounds great. This van is a blast to drive ! I have the clear TEXAS title in my name. The van was featured in issue #5 of Rolling Heavy Magazine. There is a full spread of it in the archives. Please feel free to email with any questions. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY...
