We could tell you about the full size classic luxury that this 1963 Chevrolet Impala offers, but you're already memorized by the paint. We don't even have to mention the custom interior, enhanced suspension, or the rebuilt performance 350 V8 under the hood before you're ready to give us a call on this custom vintage hardtop.Let's start with the most obvious part of this car, the spectacular paintwork. The color is called Rotor Glow, and it's the result of a serious investment in shine. That means eight coats of paint and five coats of clearcoat, which results in people marveling at how deep the bold color looks up close. Another reason why the paint is so captivating is because of the canvas used to display it. There has been a lot of time invested in getting these panels butter smooth and then making sure there is a uniform gap fit that is held to tighter standards than even Chevy had. In fact, this coupe really pays attention to the details. The brightwork is a great example, not only do the bumpers shine like mirrors, but also you might want to take notice of the 17-inch BOSS wheels. The polished outside rim with inner satin finish is so attractive that the side trim and iconic six-light rear panel were painted specially to match this color scheme. Yes, this is truly a car that will impress at the shows.Step inside for even more great blending of the vintage and custom worlds. The black vinyl on the buckets seats, the intricate design on the door panels, and the factory steering wheel with highly stylized inner ring all give you the feeling like today is 1963. But then you spot all the great upgrades like how the bold exterior orange is now used to frame the original gauge panel. As a full-sized Chevy, there's room to easily take four more people besides you, and so that's why there plenty of modern conveniences like the cup holders and AM/FM/CD stereo with aux hookup to keep them entertained. But you really know this is a driver's car. The custom center console with the Lokar shifter and auxiliary gauges, as well as the ProTech tach mounted on the steering column all are indicators there's something special under the hood. You'll love looking at the 350 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay with its bold orange block, polished components, and the valve covers & air cleaner in a satin finish that match the exterior trim scheme. But more than just a terrific presentation, this powerplant was rebuilt in 2015 with performance in mind. This includes a full Comp Cams kit that includes a 270 duration camshaft, lifters, pushrods, and roller rockers. Plus, there's a new Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor sitting on top of an Edelbrock Performer intake. This feeds the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission w/performance shift kit that sends power to the versatile 3.36 rear end. But this is much more than just pure power. The front suspension has been upgraded with an anti sway bar as well as new upper/lower ball joints and outer tie rods. In the rear there's an adjustable panhard bar and Air Lift controllers within the springs. Add to this power steering and an upgraded SBC front disc brake kit with large 11-inch drilled and slotted rotors.Complete with restoration photos and a reproduction buildsheet, this is the classic Chevy coupe that looks outstanding on the outside and is a blast behind the wheel. There's so much done to this custom build that we don't have the room to fit all the details, but we'll go over every nut and bolt (because even those were scrutinized, too!) with you when you call today!
