This 1964 Corvair Convertible has been in NC since 1983, before that unknown. its in very good condition and driven regularly with no problems. The interior was completely redone in with Clarks new upholstery kit for all seats, and all door and quarter window panels plus new med blue carpet. all weather stripping, top frame weather stripsand window fuzzies were alsoreplaced . The motor was replacedwith a fresh overhauled 1965 "RH" 110 HP engine that was rebuilt by an experienced GM mechanic using new NOS or parts from Clarks Corvair which include a new C5084nitridedcrankshaft with 10/10 bearings; C8332 64 +20 forged pistons and moly rings; C8801 Cam with fail safe gear was also installed. The car has 73K miles of it showing on the speedometer but the new engine only has just under 20K miles and still runs good today with good even compression all around. a complete set of rocker and wheel well trim from Clarks was installed. The body received some attention this past summer with new NOS steelrocker panels both sides installed, and a professional repaint in base coat clear coat Silver Blue Met. paint, and it looks great. The white top is not new but it looks good and does not leak, and it comes with a med blue Boot Cover. The car comes with a new set of 13 inch tires and a match set of correct 64Monza hub Caps. You will not be able to buy this car for this price again anywhere as it looks good, drives good, runs good. Oh almost forgot, the trunk is covered with Clarks 7 piece carpet kit.
