This is a disclosure that the Callaway's radio is not working properly, this is a known issue and I personally did not have the time to dig into it. This is a 30 year old vehicle and there are some paint blemishes which include minor rock chips along with some minor cracked paint by the nose of the vehicle (where it was scraped). The images showcase all the blemishes below, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate reaching out to me. The price has been adjusted for these minor flaws. If you're interested in seeing this vehicle in person, I'd encourage you contact me: lancem@carlisleevents.com or 717-385-1553 just ask for Lance. We can set up a time for your to view/drive the car that works mutually. Buyer will be responsible for shipping the vehicle, the car will be sold as-is with no warranty.

Car and Driver Magazine, May 1989 Issue, sums it up best in two paragraphs:

"Here's how you get The Big Rush in a Callaway Twin-Turbo Corvette: at 75 mph, slide the gear lever from sixth to fifth and plant your right foot hard. The twin turbochargers whoosh, the seat scoops you up from behind, and the Callaway lunges ahead like a roller coaster taking the big plunge. Before you know it, you're catapulting past the 125-mile mark—and the beast is showing no signs of slowing down. It's ripping the air to shreds, surging ahead so fast that you've got to squint to make out the world in front of you. You try to tell yourself that this car can't be eating up the triple digits this fast. But it is.

Congratulations. You've just had your muscle tissue rearranged by 382 horsepower and 562 pound-feet of torque. As you slow down, your synapses begin to fire off a message to your brain's central-planning office that says, "More! More! Just one more, please!" The Big Rush. Try it once and you'll be hooked." - Car & Driver May 1989

The special edition Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette was available from 1987 to 1991 as Regular Production Option (RPO) B2K and could be ordered from select dealers in the US. Corvette orders with the B2K option selected were shipped to Callaway Cars in Old Lyme, Connecticut, for the Twin Turbo conversion directly from the Bowling Green assembly plant.

Once converted and tested, the Callaway Corvettes were then shipped to their ordering dealers for final delivery to their respective owners. Dealer repairs of the Callaway Twin Turbo Corvettes were covered by the standard GM 12 mo./12,000mile warranty, with Callaway Cars, Inc. reimbursing dealers for time and materials on repairs to the added components. This was the only time where GM has allowed a factory orderable non-GM performance enhancement on the Corvette.

For 1988, Callaway increased the stock performance of the Twin Turbo Corvette to yield 382hp (285kW) and 562lb·ft (762N·m) of torque. That year, 125 Callaway Twin Turbo Corvettes were built, with 105 ordered with the RPO B2K option.
