Only 2061 Cosworth Vegas were built in 1975, the first of a 2 year run for this car. Made in Lordstown Ohio, it is equipped with a 122 cubic inch electronic fuel injected 4 cylinder, the first passenger car GM offered with electronic fuel injection. It was mated to a 4 speed manual transmission with 3.73:1 ratio rear end and limited slip differential. Equipped with gt springs, an 8000 rpm tach, power steering, power brakes and a/c were not options. Priced at $900.00 below a new Corvette, kept the numbers low on this car I am sure. W e just watched 2 of these run through the big Florida auction. The first had 56,000 miles was a no sale at 12 grand The second with very low miles, maybe the lowest miles inexistence was a no sale at $19500.00. Had they sold, on top of selling price is buyers fees etc. So, on our 36,000 mile version we have lowered the starting price to $9750.00 and no reserve.
