Up for auction is a 1974 corvette that has been in the same family for the past 30 years. The car has 90% of it's original paint. The bumpers were replaced years ago with original GM bumpers. That is the only paint work that I can tell was ever done. you can still see all the bonding strip lines in the body. This is a all numbers matching car right down to the carburetor. The car has never been in an accident. The frame is perfect never any rust what so ever.
I will start with what the car is, it's a 195hp 4 speed car that has leather seats, power windows, power steering, power brakes am/fm working radio, air condition. There is a factory alarm system that still works. The car runs and drives good. All the lights and gauges work as they should and the battery does not go dead from sitting. The interior is all original, no cracks in the dash or door panels allin excellent condition. This is a really nice survivorthat is all original.
The only thing that is wrong with the car is it will smoke for a short time after the car has been sitting for awhilefrom the valve seals. It does not smoke that bad it goes away after it warms up, I just want to be honest. Thisis not expensive to fix and is commonwitholder GM cars. A/C will need to be charged.
Also the paint is Original Lacquer and has crack all throughthe paint as you can see in the close up pictures.
I am not asking a lot for this corvette I own several corvettes and muscle carsjust trying to down size. I will be listing a 1966 Nova SS and a 1961 corvette in the near future.
Buyer is responsible for shipping. The car is in a safe and climate controlled garage.
