Up for auction is a beautiful 1968 Chevy Impala Custom Coupe. The vehicle was purchased in 2010. It is a California carand has been kept in the garage under a car coversince Igot it back from the shop that restored it.I replaced weather stripping, front bushings, rear motor seal, rear control arm, tie rods and centerlink. The car drives very well and runs awesome. The paint was done in a Brandywine Kandy and has a gallon of clear. It does have a nick behind the rear window but was touched up and really isn't that bad at all. I am doing my best to describe what I have done to bring this vehicle back to life and make her the beauty she is today but being that this has several thousands of dollars invested I’m sure to forget a few items so please ask any questions if you have any concerns and I will answer them the best I can and if possible send you a photo of the area in question. I even replaced all the break cylinders and had them adjusted, this vehicle has good alignment and steers as smooth as todays vehicles. The vehicle has a kenwood CD player with Rockford fosgate speakers and sounds really nice. The vehicle has never had hydraulics or air bags in it. It has a 327 V8 with dual exhaust and runs great. I had the motor gone through and made sure she was ingood running condition. As I posted in what the car needs below its pretty much minor repairs. The gear selector indicator doesn't mark what gear your in. I was going to remove the cluster and repair it but never got around to it. The car doesn't need much to finish 100% and it wont cost a lot either. I have taken the time to do all I felt was important and needed to be done professionally the rest is stuff you can do in your garage minus welding in the rear seat floor panels unless you know how to weld. In all honesty this car is beautiful and runs very good. Rally wheels with like new tires. Vehicle has original black and yellow plates.
“Needs rear seat floor panel, has steel sheet welded in place. Driver window may need track I purchased the roller with a bracket but have not been able to get to it to determine if this part will fix the problem (window is slightly tilted), needs passenger I guess would be fender front chrome fill it has a piece missing on it (see picture), antenna. Carpet is in fair condition but if you’re going for show I would change it out. The dash pad is cracked but does have dash cover and cracks are not visible. Needs kick down linkage rod. I did a lot of work on this vehicle so it just needs a few small things that I just didn't get to. Undercarriage is coated to prevent rust. If you’re familiar with cars you know the items I listed aren't expensive parts.”
