For sale in our Chicago showroom is a very solid 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 tribute. This is the second generation of Camaros that debuted in 1970 and continued on until 1981 and has been a popular American muscle car ever since. Today these cars are prized by enthusiasts for their short stance, wide and long front ends and classic '70's styling.
The interior displays mostly original equipment and the addition of an Auto Meter tachometer and a Z-28 steering wheel wrapped with a rope grip that is a clear throw back to the 1920's and 1930's racers of the time. From top to bottom this car shows very well and all of the door seals and plastic components look very nice. This particular vehicle started life with the scant 250 Cubic Inch 6 cylinder but this baby has been upgraded with a 400 Cubic Inch Chevy small block tied to a 400 turbo trans that will get this classic up to speed without hesitation.
In order make sure this car retains its drivability and good road manners the leaf springs were replaced as were the valve springs, carburetor, mufflers and the heads have been cleaned. Adjustments have been made to the timing and transmission to make sure this baby provides you with excellent drivability.
