This shortbed Chevy was purchased new at Cooke Chevrolet in Evansville Indiana by Lawrence Feller in 1968. This wasnt a cheap truck and was bought with some desirable options. He took extremely good care of the truck throughout his 64 years of ownership. He was the only owner / driver of the truck, until he passed in 2012 at the age of 95. The truck sat for 2 years until I had the opportunity to purchase it. Trucks like this don't come available very often. I have been collecting, buying, and seling classic cars and trucks for many years and have owned and built hundreds. I am a very picky buyer. My girlfriend wanted a 67-68 c10 to drive on the weekends, so I began to search. I wanted something safe to put her in, so a rust free un restored truck was all I would consider. When I got wind of this truck I immediately pulled the trigger. She has absolutely loved driving the truck the past couple years. It has been on some long trips, and has proven to be extremely reliable and road worthy. It is well loved and will definitelybe missed (she is not happy about parting with the truck).
This c10 is extremely original and has been very well preserved. The original black paint still shines great. It has its share of chips and scratches, but shows extremely very well. Amazing patina!
The numbers matching 307 runs great and has lots of power. The original powerglide trans shifts just like it should. Everything under the hood is original. Carb, alternator, air cleaner, master cylinder, exhaust manifolds, etc. The belts were replaced long ago, but the originals were put in the box and placed under the seat. It even has the original spiral shocks in the rear. I think the truck even has the original exhaust on it.
This truck runs and drives excellent. It steers nice, stops good, and is very easy and comfortable to drive. The cab is nice and tight. This truck can be driven anywhere. You cannot replace how an original un molested truck drives. It is a joy to drive.
The door open and close perfectly.
The truck is extremely solid. There is one very minor rust spot on the drivers door corner, and a very minor spot on in the corner of the bed. They are minor, and hard to see. The cab floor, bed floor, body mounts, and braces are all very solid.
Original Cooke Chevroletlogo on the tailgate. Lawrence's insurance card is still in the leather sheath strapped around the column.
Original bumpers, trim, body panels, emblems, glass, rubbers, seals, taillights, grill, etc.
The interior is completely original. The drivers seat bottom has rips. Original rubber mat is in great shape. Original steering wheel, pedal pads, door panels, etc.
All 5 original wheels and factory option chrome caps in great shape.
Everything on this truck works, and works properly. Working E brake, horn, wipers, lights, signals, indicators, heat, defrost, fresh air vents, all gauges, cigarette lighter, door locks,
The truck has 85k miles.
Not many out there like this one. Don't miss out on this opportunity. There are many restored trucks out there, but survivors like this are hard to find!

I would prefer a cash deal, but I may possibly consider a partial trades for other high end classics or late model exotic. Also would consider a Skid Loader or MiniExcavator as partial trade. Email me with what you have to trade. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
