The body on this car is extremely, EXTREMELY straight! There was a lot of good craftsmanship done.
The Motor is the ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING 327 Small Block.
Original 2 Speed Powerglide.
The car had been mini tubbed to accommodate the larger rear wheels. It originally was running a 345 series tire.
Has new pro car seats. The rear seat have been fitted to accommodate the larger mini tub which I hear isn't an easy job.
Brand new interior almost all the way around. New dash, carpet, headliner ect..
The interior still has the original gauges and radio. It has a complete mandrel bent 3" exhaust that has Flowmaster Super 44's that dump off at the axle.
I have TENS OF THOUSANDS IN RECEIPTS FOR THIS CAR.
Also the car had a small feature on bangshift.com
<a herf=http://bangshift.com/bangshiftapex/bangshiftapex-online-find/this-pro-touring-1968-camaro-is-done-right-but-with-a-twist/"
Transmission doesn't seem to catch 100% while making 90 degree turns from a stop/roll.Going straight through the gears is fine. I think this is related to the transmission not putting enough power to the wavetrac rear end. I do NOT think this is an issue with the rear end and the wavetrac systemsince it is brand new and still under warranty. How ever I'm not a mechanic.I still drive the car nearly everyday I can because it isn't that bothersome to me.
Secondlyit has had the original A/C removed and yet tohave a firewall plate installed over it. Also the 1/4" wideScratches are next to each wiper arm and were caused when the wipers slipped from the window and scratched the cowl panel.
I'm selling because I have a new born on the way. I have tinkered around about selling it before but was never to serious or keen on actually getting rid of it since I usedit almostexclusively as a daily driver.
It's a good start on a track or show car. You can either leave it numbers matching or swap an LS and a Tremec. It's an extremely good start and I feel you would be hard pressed to get a car this far done for the price.
I'm here to answer as many questions as I can so please feel free to reach out to me!
