Features include power steering, power brakes, power windows, side exhaust, bolt-on wheels, J56 heavy-duty brakes, telescopic steering, genuine leather seats, soft ray glass, transistor ignition, AM/FM radio. 1967 427/435 ORIGINAL, DOCUMENTED MARLBORO MAROON CORVETTE COUPE This car is very original and has been NCRS judged in 1985 and again in 2016 when it earned a Top Flight score of 98.3. There are three prior owners and documentation including owner history, Tank Sticker, Protecto plate, Original Owners Packet and Manual, and Receipts since new. This car came from the factory with Aluminum Bolt on wheels (including the spare with the original spare tire), J56 HD brakes, Power Brakes, Side Dual Exhaust, 4 speed close ratio transmission, 4.11:1 positraction rear end, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tinted Windows, Telescopic Steering Column, and Transistorized Ignition. Other options include Black Leather, AM/FM Radio, 775x 15 White Stripe Tires and of course the 427/435HP Engine. Virtually all of the components have been examined, rebuilt, or restored to ensure reliability. This includes the entire drivetrain. Belts, hoses, lines, seals, gaskets, and tires were replaced with correct reproduction items for safety. The goal was to make the car as close to how it came new from the factory as possible, without over restoration on items deemed original to the car. The original chrome and stainless still shine, and the original leather seats, dash, door panels, carpet, gages, seat belts, and console still show almost as new. The original glass, unrestored bolt on wheels and many other parts were left untouched in the time capsule of 50 years ago, now ready to present herself for the next 50 years. Due to heavy undercoating on the chassis and body the chassis was restored using original bolts and correct reproduction parts. The body was removed from the chassis, stripped and repainted with base/clear paint for durability. The door jams and hood ledge were dulled to resemble lacquer paint to meet NCRS judging. The components of this car are not only date code correct, but believed to be the original components on the car when built. The only known mechanical components replaced were the Holley carburetors. The 2nd owner sold the original carburetors and replaced them with a single 4 barrel carb. Luckily he retained the original intake manifold and three original date code correct carbs were sourced and painstakingly restored and now rest on the original manifold. This car needs has been restored by two excellent restorers who have restored many NCRS cars. They would be pleased to share with you any details or questions about the restoration. If you are looking for one of the finest examples of a very original, very rare, highly optioned 1967 Corvette 427/435 Coupe, you should consider this car.
