1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS This is a stunning classic. A TRUE SS and done the correct way. Nothing in this restoration was skipped! Some Chevelle’s just scream look at me and this is one. The paint is done SO incredibly well it looks slippery and wet! It draws you in like a mirror and gives you the satisfaction of seeing your face! So incredibly close to perfect! The doors. hood and trunk lid shut with confidence insuring nice body gaps! With STRAIGHT panels you can look down the side of this iconic classic assured of no waves! All the bumpers shine bright along with all trim as well. The white vinyl top looks gorgeous next to this paint. The contrast on a gloss finish next to vinyl is next to no other. an incredible duo! The white stripes that grace the paint are a nice touch and really pop next to the orange. This body has nothing to hide and the pictures speak for themselves. The deep rich color really jumps out on the badge close ups! Brand new red line tires look awesome and still have stickers on them! The rims they are mounted on are incredibly clean and keep the period correct theme rolling down the road! I personally drove this car and fell in love. The 454 is nice and torquey as can be expected. The feel of a big block just idling is majestic. and putting your foot down into the throttle will put a smile on your face from ear to ear! The car sounds incredible and runs as well as drives even better. I really love the feel of a 454 and 4 speed matted together. and for my two cents of input nothing can compare! The interior is crazy clean as well. Including brand new carpet and beautiful white seats that are plush and make you feel at home in a true 138 car! All of the trim on the interior is bright as well and the stamped Hurst shifter is in incredible condition as well as being a great center piece. The SS 396 floor mats look super cool and bring the orange to the interior very well. The head liner and visors look to be brand new. The gauges are clear and look great! It is really a cool classic! The underside looks good as well as pictures will show. This is a super clean. strong runner that will turn heads everywhere it drives.
