This a fully restored 1955 Chevy Gasser. By fully restored I mean a complete frame off restoration. Every inch of this car has been touched. This car was an actual Gasser from the 60's. Many of the parts used in the restoration were on the car when it was raced. This car has been shot by Street Rodder; for the Street Shaker award which will be coming out in the September Issue. It also has been shot by Chevy High and Gear Heads for Life. This car was in SEMA and the Grand National Roadster Show. The car was professionaly restored by Performance Carb and Speed. Some details about the car; it has a big block Chevy and 1960's TR2X Manifold by Edelbrock. The carburetors are 1965 Holley custom built by Performance Carb and Speed. The transmission is a B&M turbo 400 with a 3000 Stall from Hughes. The shifter is a B&M Ratchet. the rear end is a 1968 8 3/4 Crysler with a factory locker and 355 Gear. The front wheels are Fenton 3. 5 inch with M&H tires. The rear wheels are 10 inch American Racing with Tow City 29. 5 inch Cheater Slicks. The front Axle is from the 60's chromed using a 1948 thru 1954 Chevy spindles. The front brakes are 1970 Chevy disc with custom brackets. The rear brakes are the factory drums. The car is equipped with custom stainless steel fuel lines topped with American Made Phenix Industry fittings. The car is equipped with all new brake lines and master cylinder. It has custom one off gas and brake pedals. stainless steel steering column and custom roll bar. The seat and shifter mount are hand built as well as the stainless steel exhaust and black widow mufflers. This cars body is coated with blue pearl paint and the roof is covered with custom patterns of lace and flames on top of a white pearl topped with flake. The car is also hand pinstriped . ustom letters done in real silver leaf lettering. No stickers! This car turns heads no matter where you go. It is a real crowd pleaser and a show stopper. You can drive this car to work or take it to the show. If you have been looking for a real Gasser look no further. This car was not built from a catalog. everything on this car is either from the 60's. 70's. or custom built. The list just keeps going on.
