Up for auction is a 1971 Rally Sport Camaro. Original color of Cranberry Red with White vinyl top. Original interior was Black Deluxe with woodgrain accents and black and white houndstooth seat covers. Original option VF3 chrome bumpers equipped with rubber strips [1, 09 so equipped] and rear bumper guards. Original engine was a 350 with a TH 350 automatic transmission. This Camaro does not have its original engine/transmission or rear end. It is NOT a numbers matching drivetrain. I do have a 1971 350 engine coded VO322CJD and dated March 20, 1971 that needs to be rebuilt. Also included is a set of Bowtie 034 Angle Plug Heads, bowtie Victor Jr. Intake manifold, set of Harland Sharp 1.5 Roller Rockers, 4 core Camaro radiator, 1.75 inch Hooker Super Competition Headers (pictures of these are in the photobucket link below). I also have a 1970 TH350 transmission that was rebuilt in 1991. The Camaro was parked shortly after [1993] and has not been driven since. The rear end is a 8.5 10 Bolt Posi from a 1973 Z28 coded CM with a 4.88 gear installed. You have a choice of the stock torque converter or a TCI 5500 stall converter. This Camaro was obviously modified in the 1980s to be a drag race/ street racer with lexan windshield/back window, welded frame connectors, traction bars, nbsp;15x10 Weld Superlite rear wheels with 10.5 inch Mickey Thompson slicks and 15x4 Weld Superlites on the front. Unfortunately all 4 tires are junk from sitting for 20+ years. There is some rust in the following areas: bottom of both front fenders, nbsp; bottoms of both rear quarter panels and both rear lips, tail light panel below rear bumper, rear subframes on both sides in front of rear end, trunk floor surface rusty with several small holes but still solid, left gas tank strap mount is rusted . All of the floor boards are solid and are NOT weak. The Rally Sport urethane nose is rusty on the back side and is wavy. The dash pad is wavy. The cowl tag is missing. Also, there is rust at the back of the trunk lid. Please call with any questions and ask for Eric @ 1-816-324-5520 8AM-10PM.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A PROJECT CAR THAT NEEDS COMPLETE RESTORATION. I DO HAVE A CLEAN CLEAR TITLE
