It is worthy of all the thumbs up praise it receives on its many journeys on city streets and open highways. It is a solid investment. There is not another one like it. Its presence always draws attention and lots of questions. Allow me to give you a virtual tour of the entire car with photos and words.

The previous owner and builder dubbed the car 'Super Chevy.' This describes it well; it is a super Chevy. As wagons grow in popularity and jump in value no longer do people refer to them as two seats and a box. Not only are they sought after they are the fastest growing segment of all classic motor cars. They are a wonder throw back to a bygone era.

THE EXTERIOR

The body is long lean and straight as an arrow. The color shows exceptionally well at all times of the day and night. It has a lot of depth and a deep shine. The doors hood and rear hatch open close and fit properly. There is no sag. There are no dents. The steel side panels offer a custom sleek look. The chrome and stainless trim is in very good to excellent condition. The tires and wheels compliment the whole car. The push button rear window operates as new. Look at it from any angle and one feels proud to be part of this wagon. The underside is solid and dry as a bone. What fun it is to have and to hold something no one else owns.

THE ENGINE AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT

Open the hood and watch a crowd gather. The whole compartment is a show place. A Performer series crate GM engine Edelbrock carb Painless wires Hedman headers chrome covers 700R trans and a spotless compartment are there to admire. Everything is in place and there is a place for everything. The whole compartment is bright and shiny and spotlessly clean. The long arm air cleaner adds to the awesome look.

Turn the key and the engine ignites instantly. The sound is light at idle and thunder when revved. There is a mild hum when cruising. The car is smooth and performs well at any speed. It goes through the gears perfectly. This is a wonderful cruiser.

The interior is comfortable sporty and in good condition. The dash features Summit and Auto-meter gauges and they all work. They include fuel temp oil pressure tach odometer and speed gauges. The sound system is Pioneer. This is an air conditioned car. Between the buckets there is a fine center console. It features both front and rear cup holders a tray and a lift compartment for CD’S. There is also an ice chest. There is tons of room for cargo. When the rear seat is folded down which takes just a second you can pack just about anything in there. This area measures 4X 8 feet. You can personalize the cabin by lifting the seat and house four adults in comfort. The beauty of a wagon. The Nomad emblems on the dash and rear door speaks of a bygone era.
