Evolve Motors is pleased to red present our clients gorgeous 1966 LS1 Custom Corvette!

Born February 28th 1966 this Corvette started out Rally Red and appears to have lived a happy life driving through the suburbs. Fortunately it wasn't put to pasture in the show circuit! This '66 shed it's Rally Red exterior to become the fire breathing animal it is today!! Finished in Competition Yellow this Stingray looks fast even when it's sitting still. The odometer shows 8025 miles. Based on the condition of this custom restoration we believe this to be true.

This appears to be a more recent restoration based on our inspection. The body and paint looks fantastic with only minor blems here and there as one might expect. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a custom hot rod. The chrome trim glass and britework all look excellent. The paint appears to be a 2 stage yellow that shows very nicely and has been freshly buffed and waxed. We did notice that the hood color is a slight shade different than the rest of the car. This is probably due to a post restoration hood swap and simply not getting the color tinted correctly. The hood bumpers trim and handles all fit properly. The car shows no signs of major prior body repairs as far as we can see. The door mesh is tight as they line up very nicely and close crisply. The body appears to have minimal filler on it and overall shows nicely. The gumball number decals are removable if desired.

Inward the seats were treated to custom black leather with yellow inserts and piping as well as black carpeting with yellow pipping covering the floors. The dashboard received a complete makeover of Auto Meter Phantom gauges and dials all to keep an eye on engine vitals. The original knobs switches and radio are all retained in factory locations but the radio isn't functional. A new Alpine CD player hides in the glove box ready to rock. The stock steering wheel was replaced with a custom Budnic aluminum setup. The car has power windows that function properly. All interior features show in good working order. The headliner and roof both show nicely and the interior DOES NOT smell of 1966.

What makes this Corvette unlike any other is the fuel injected LS1 that resides under the hood. This was a custom build from front to back including everything from the cooling system to the steering system to the transmission. The car appears modified to handle the extra power and parts associated with the conversion. This car has power steering and power brakes. The Edelbrock headers connect to a true dual custom stainless steel exhaust system with a pair of mufflers in the rear. The brakes appear in like new condition with full meat on the pads and minimal rotor wear. The car appears to have had all new suspension bushings that appear to be in excellent shape. We note a set of Bilstein shocks on the rear. This stunner is outfitted it with a brand new set of American Racing wheels and brand new Kumho tires (Only 125 Miles on them). The car has an automatic transmission which appears to be out of a late model LS1 equipped vehicle. The car has a newer AGM battery in it and it fires right up every time. The car makes fantastic power and sounds incredible to say the least. There are no suspension noises and the car drives straight and stops straight. The AC blows ice cold!

The underside of this car is near show quality. The rails show solid and straight and the hardware shows minimal rusting. The birdcage is also in great shape. Please view all pictures carefully.

This car cost over $100000 to build in 2008. It is an absolute stunner and a performer to boot!
