Very nice 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that has been drivenless than 2000miles over my 8 years of ownership. I do not have any original documentation for thevehicle other than what I have been able to decode from the VIN cowl tag and what the history of ownership was told to me by the previous owner. I am selling this as a 1969 Camaro Z-28 tribute or recreation or whatever isthe popularvernacular for a vehicle that does not havethepaperwork it was born with. I was told that I am third owner and that previous ownerpurchased from original owner fromthe Finger Lakes Area. Original owner was not willing or unable to produce the originalpaperwork for the car for the second owner. The original owner claimed to have never driven the car inthe winter weather. The second owner hadthe car repainted to its current paint scheme along with installing thevinyl top. All ofthe lower bodypanels are original with no rustbubbles or rot in them. The trunk does havesomevery tiny pin holes but not rotted out and I wanted to reflect truecondition along with a great many pictures foryourinspection. The mileage stated is said to be the actual mileage of the car andthe condition of the interior reflects this.From what I have been able todetermine from the vin is that it is a true V8 car that was perthe cowl tag a Cortez Silver with Custom Red interior car.The cowl tag decodes as follows: ST69 - 1969 12437 - Coupe TP 719 - Red Custom Interior 69 69 Top & Bottom body color of Cortez Sliver 10C - Build the 3rd week of October.This Camaro has a Hurst 4 speed manual transmission with with a 5.7L small block 350Chevroletengine that was taken out of a 1979 C30 Van (original motor is unknown). The car has a 10 boltposi rear axle with multi-leaf suspension andthe gear ratio is 4.10 or higher as it is not a highway cruiser over 60mph. It has front power disc and rear drum brakes (front brakes new in 2014) andthere is no power steering. It has a brand new Holley 650 double pumper whichreplaced an oldHolley600 single pumper. The car also has a brand new starter. Thetires have less than 1000 miles on them. The front end was rebuilt withpolyurethanebushings and new tie rods along with a new drivers side front wheel bearings in 2013. Theinterior ofthe car isoriginal and is in excellent shape with no splits or cracks intheseats or on thedashboard. The car does have an after market cd player inthe glove box that I disconnected as well as anoriginal looking am/fmstereo inthe dashboard.The car is a great cruise night vehicle and not a trailer queen but is still in very good condition. Get in buckle up and drive it home if you choose to do so. Iwould not have anyhesitation for someone to drive to any ofthe adjoining cities of Buffalo or Syracuse. Putting the car on a trailerwould always make for the best option forthe highest bidder.The car is being sold in "as-is"conditionwith nowarrantiesexpressedor implied.
