Up for sale we have a 1967 Chevy Chevelle Pro Street. Not a lot of changes were made from ’66 to the ’67 Chevelle with only the hood grill and tail panel seeing changes. The ’67 we have for you has had a few upgrades with a 454 Engine and the upgrade to the rear end. It’s been tubbed so that it would hold the 20x14 Wheel and Tire. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior interior and heartbeat of the Chevy but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned operated and own our entire inventory no consignments and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information pictures or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. The body is straight and solid with good lines. The fit and finish is good and everything is covered in the Marina Blue Paint that has a good shine and is accented by the Black vinyl top. At the time of the build they installed new bumpers as well as other new chrome. The installed new weather stripping as well. All the stainless looks factory but is in good shape. This Chevelle has the SS hood and trim. The wheels on this car are Coys with Gray Spokes that 18x5 on the front and 20x14 in the Rear.
Next we will take a look at the interior of the ’67. On the inside it’s done in Blue with Bucket seats and console. It has the factory style T Handle Shifter. The carpet and headliner is also blue. The dash is black with a new black pad. Also it has what is known as the blanker tach and an AM FM radio. The dome light and horn does work.
Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a 454 Big Block that is mated to a 350 Turbo Trans. The engine has a chrome intake with a Holley Carb and sheet metal valve covers that are aluminum as well as the breather. Also it has an Aluminum water pump with chrome pulleys and alternator. The brakes were upgraded to a show master cylinder and booster and it has drill and slotted rotors up front. The steering is also Power. When you look under the back of this Chevelle it has been tubbed and they did a nice job on the frame. A narrowed 9” Ford Rear End has been installed with ladder bars and QA1 Coil overs. All the sheet metal work looks good with only what to be cut being cut. It still has the stock trunk pan where a 15 gal aluminum fuel cell was installed.
