1968 Camaro Convertible running and driving project car. I believe this carisa factory 327 3 speed manualwith console and gauges Corvette Bronze with black top and interior. The car was in a storage unit for the last 15 years or so we changed the fluids and installed a new carb gas tank and sending unit and the car fired right up and runs and drives. I have driven it short distances locally because I don't think that the alternator is charging and the speedometer doesn't work. The throwout bearing is a little noisy. The only other things that do notwork that I have foundare the clock andthe power top and that is because the pump is missing. Everything else for the power top appears to be there and in tact I checked the switch with a test light and it functions properly the hoses and rams also look good but I don't have any way to test them without a pump. The top is in good shape also the window is pretty clear there are no holes and could just use some cleaning. All of the stainless trim is in good shape withonly a fewvery small dings. the windshield has a crack across the bottom but the side glass are all in good shape. The car has a factory console with the gauge cluster and dash mounted tic-toc-tach which all appear to be working. Horn wipers power steering drum brakes lights heater blower motor everything works! There is no lock in the trunk lid because we couldn't find the right key.
The car has some rust in the fenders dash (small section where it meets the windshield) lower door skins and outer quarter skins but all of the structural components are in great shape! I have not found any rust holes in the floor pans the trunk pan has only a few tiny pinholes. The rockers frame and subframe all look great. All4 of the cocktail shakers are there also. I am not sure if the 327 that is in the car now is the original motor I can't read the numbers on the block. The transmission appears to be original to the car but I'm also not sure if it is numbers matching either.
This is a project car and is sold AS IS I do my best to give a good detailed description of the car but if you have any questions or need better pictures please don't hesitate to ask! The car has a clear title. The buyer is responsible for shipping but I can assist your shipper with loading the car. I also have the car for sale/trade locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells before the auction ends.
