Description

1988 Chevrolet Silverado custom truck
This truck has been heavily modified and is a sweet reliable ride, as been daily driven in current setup for last 10 years and 70,000 with only minor changes. Truck had 250,000 miles when swap was done. Lowered with Belltech 5/7 static drop kit, ew Belltech Nitro drop 2 shocks put on last year. No tire scrub or other issues with lowering. Engine is a stock LS-1 from a 2002 Camaro SS that only had 10,000 miles on it before it was put into this truck, obil1 oil changed every 5,000 miles since then. Transmission is 4L60E from the same car was rebuilt then and has had fluid changed twice since. Has 14 bolt rear end with Powertrax locker. Swap was done well and has run reliably for the last 70,000 miles. Tires are new Michelin's with 10,000 miles on them and plenty of tread left. Brakes were professionally done in last few months. New aluminium radiator in last 6 months.
Problems:
-No A/C, ad a Street and Performance kit with Sanden compressor but it died. Still have everything, ot sure what would be needed to get it working.
-Rear axle has slow leak
-Electric fans need to be hooked up
-Several small dents, ave new tailgate to replace current one. Body is solid and rust free though. Also could use repaint of the flat black.
