FOR SALE; A 1970 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. This is an original Donnybrooke green/ green interior car that was optioned with A/C, ower steering/ brakes, 50/300 engine and T- 400 automatic transmission. It should be apparent, hat a while back someone was compelled to change the body to the 1975 -77 style front/rear with rear flares (!) The mods to make this happen should be obvious. The main body shell is still polyester glass (not SMC). The overall condition of the car is NEEDING RESTORATION - TOTAL PROJECT but it DOES HAVE Potential. The engine is currently a later 350 4 BBL (non-numbers) motor but i believe the trans is correct. The engine runs well with no noise/smoke but does have a fuel pump/tank issue and will run off of a can. The car is for the most part complete except interior and has the following as GOOD points;
Original CLEAN frame with the CORRECT 1970 VIN on the LH rear rail (it's got a 1970 frame because it's a 1970...) Nice and CLEAN at the rear kickups, O SCALE- SOUTHERN CAR
Good stock 350 engine w/the power steering and A/C intact (don't expect to blow cold) car has full exhaust system.
Upgraded brakes w/stainless Vette brakes calipers. Car also shows trailing arms/suspension service.
Good dry birdcage, ncluding CLEAN lower channel body mounts and around windshield / cowl / * fiberglass floor pans etc (it's a 70). Nice windshield glass, ood doors w/polyester glass outer panels (correct for year). Car has the correct firewall with wiper door holes/grommets/switches because IT IS A 1970. Trim tag/ VIN tag still in place from new with factory rivets. THIS CAR HAS NO INTERIOR INCLUDED but does have the column still there as well as the shifter and A/C control panel/wiring/etc.
Current registration in the state of GA.
