Description

You are looking at a rare and hard to find 1961 Chevy C20 Apache 3/4 ton pickup. This pickup has had only 2 previous owners and they were members of my family. The pickup sat in a barn since 1985 when the owner passed away. This pickup was purchased from the Wisconsin GM plant back in 1961. It has all heavy duty options from the double coil springs on each side and shocks. The tailgate was modified to feed cattle from. Everything is original on the pickup except the new parts needed to get it running. I replaced the gas tank, uel lines, ome brake lines, rake shoes and cylinders, arburetor, tarter, uel pump, attery, lutch, ressure plate, hrowout bearing and resurfacing clutch flywheel. Replaced clutch and brake master cylinder, ew 8 bolt 16" wheels and tires in the front and original 8 bolt wheels in the back. I have all 4 original wheels (17.5 X 7).
Truck has never been painted and engine and transmission are all original to the truck and match. Hard to find a truck in this condition and unmolested. All the glass is very good, oors, atches and windows all roll up and down. I drive the truck around town using hand signals until the lights get fixed. The truck bed is missing the wood but all hardware is there. The trucks frame is perfectly straight and looks and rides like it. I had visions of completely restoring it but it is costing me more that I have. I have not seen another Apache from this era so this is a rare find. I have tried to hide nothing on this truck and the pictures will tell the story.
