Description

For auction is my 79 C-10 Shortbed. It was originally from Dalton Georgia and was found along the road for sale by a fed ex freight driver who shipped it home to nw Indiana. I purchased it about 7 years ago. It had a 250 inline six with a three speed on the column and 0 options.

Over the years I have done a frame up, omplete nut and bolt restoration. The frame was spotless and has not one single pit. Its painted single stage black urethane, ith numerous chrome and stainless fasteners. The Springs are original to give it a lower stance. The original 12 bolt rear end has had ever bearing and seal replaced and has an Auburn Pro series posi with a Richmond 3:73 gear. Front suspension, nd bushings are all new with slotted rotors. Nitto 455 extremes on Old School rims 17x8 inch. The body is arrow straight and is also single stage urethane, olor sanded and rubbed. All trim and mirrors are new as are the bumpers and grill. The side and rear sliding window are the only items I can think of that have not been replaced. They are decent. Front windshield (tinted with antenna) is new. All new LMC truck interior, oodgrain dash from a 90 suburban and newer style (81 and up pad and door panels). The bed has been restored to as new, spent a month filling in dents in the bed floor. The undercarriage is as clean as the rest, I can send whatever pics that a serious bidder would request.

The engine is a 1971 402 block bored .40 over. Line honed with a GM Forged crank, bolt main bearings, eith Black 9.5/1 hyper pistons, omp cams Big Mutha Thumper Cam (flat tappet) 1968 94 cc closed chamber heads, ery well ported and polished. Long tube ceramic headers, agnaflow x pipe Flowmaster 50's tailpipes out the stock location. The truck idles about 1300 rpms and never fails to turn every head at the cruise nights. It had a 700r4, hich I replaced after a couple years with a Muncie M20 4 speed with a modified 57 Chevy comp plus shifter to work with the bench seat. No expense had been spared and I have put a considerable amout of money and time in this truck which has been a labor of love. My family has grown and I cannot fit 4 of us in the truck. I am firm on the reserve price but would consider a trade for a 60's to 70 Impala convertible that is very nice. Im sure I have forgotton many things as this is not an easy add to write and I have real done some soul searching deciding to sell my truck. Thanks for looking.

Inspections welcome.
