Up for sale is my 1960 Biscayne i really like this car but it time to part with it, got a chance to buy my dream car so some toys have to go. Under the hood is a smooth and strong running original 283 engine, was told the engine was rebuilt by the former owner and it runs like it was, o smoke and it doesn't burn oil. It has a new edelbrock intake and carb, rand new HEI dist. newwater-pump, ew alternator and rebuilt power steering pump. Transmission is a three speed on thecolumnthat shifts good but has play and jams, ou know what i'm talking about if you've had one, have a four speed for it that i just picked up that will bolt right in would be an easy conversion. The whole front end is newgot a complete power steering set up (605) from speedway along with a complete power disc brake set up also, he only thing that isn't new is the a-arm bushings was planning on puttingtubular arms. Car drives and stops so much better now. Has dualexhaust with flow-masters sounds awesome. Interior was redone in leather the job was done a few years back so there is some fadingon the top area's but no cracks or tears and still shows very well, ot to sure what the front bucket seat are out of but they look good, he driver seat has wear and leans toward the door, rior owner was a big guy, wanted to replace them with the original bench seat but just never got around to it. Carpet and headliner are in great shape, oor panels are also, as a custom center counsel with a system in it but it is an old alpine system that still works. Has power windows installed just need to finish wiring them up to the switch,( that'swhy driver panel has stuff off of it). Head lights and tail lights work turn signals don't, peedometer does not, emp and gasgauge work has a tach also.Paint and body are about ten years old but still shine up good, here is normal driving wear and somebubbling on the rear driver quarter, small scratch on driver fender thatdoesn't get noticed to often, t is still a very decent paint job. Has a custom grill up front that looks pretty good, t was on the car when i bought it, bought a very nice original grill to put back on just need to get a couple more pieces to install it (outer head light buckets). The car sits on 18" coyos up front and 20" in the back, hat are in great shape no curbing and shine very nice, ear tires have about 75% tread and front are decent but need to be replaced they were worn in the inside due to the prior set up. The car has an awesome stance and gets lots of thumbs up.Now for the bad has some rust on floor board under the driver seat (see pics) and a little on the passenger side, ot bad and very fixable, he trunk is solid as well as the rest of the car and frame.This car is an attention getter and iconsistently have people taking pictures, f your looking for a project that you can drive while you're working on it this is the perfect car, ook at all the otherBiscayne's on ebay and see what they are bringing and still not selling, hese cars are climbing in value.
