New interior parts include: carpet, oor panels, ash, nd seat upholstery. New headliner is stretched tight and correct. Plastic pieces were cleaned and dyed to match the new black pieces. Window felts and door weather strips have also been replaced with new.
Engine is a great running 350 cubic inch chevy hooked to a turbo 350 automatic transmission. differential is a 10 bolt factory unit with a normal feeling gear ratio--I would guess about 3:08 gears in the rear end. Exhaust is a true dual set up with 2 1/2 inch pipe that sounds great. Suspension feels good and car tracks straight and true. Brakes are power drum brakes but have been completely reworked and the car stops really good with no pull whatsoever.
Air conditioning and heat are supplied by a professionally installed underdash slimline unit that blows ice cold. Nice clean installation both inside and outside under the hood.
Wheels are factory 15 inch Rally rims with good rubber. The chrome rings are nice and the center caps are the flat, arly style cap that in my opinion look much better than the sombrero derby caps. Both bumpers are new and look great. The remaining chrome is at least good driver quality or better. The four corner pieces on the bed are pot metal originals and have some pitting but are presentable. The windshield is new biut cracked and will be replaced under warranty this week.
El Caminos are identical to a Chevelle from the doors forward and have very bit of the eye appeal of their cousins but for about half the price. Here is a beautiful muscle car that is a turnkey, estored car that needs nothing. If you have a feedback rating of less than 5, lease contact me before bidding. I will meet with the shipper of your choice and be there for the loading process. Call, ext and email works for me.
