Description

I bought this car 15 years ago, nd like most untouched Corvettes from the 70’s it needed a lot of work. There are 2 kinds of old Corvettes; those that have been restored and those that need to be restored. With most 'original' unrestored Stingrays, he interiors, prings, ushings, nd bumpers are all either shot, r well on their way. The exceptions are rare and very expensive. This car had a lot going for it when I bought it. It had matching numbers, 4-speed transmission, solid body, nd the floor pans and frame were virtually rust-free. I disassembled this car down to the frame. It has new fuel lines, rake lines, rake seals, -joints, ushings, pindles, wheel bearings (4), ear spring, hocks, ody mounts, ires, enter caps, rake pads, otor mounts, otor, ntake, olly Double Pump Street Avenger Carb, EI ignition, plugs, ires,Chrome Valve Covers,Air Cleaner, lternator, ater pump, uel pump, adio, ntenna, asher fluid bottle, adiator overflow, elts, oses, luminized fluted dual exhaust, eramic headers, ront and rear Tru-Flex bumpers, ir dam, rills, ody emblems and badges, oor handles, attery, ach circuit board, lock, utside mirror, ail light assemblies, urn signal assemblies, arking light assemblies, ocker panel moldings, oor panels, arpet, ash pad, enter console, arking brake console, eating and air controls, ents, auge cluster bezel, shifter knob and t-handle, ear storage doors and frame, nterior door handles, oor locks, enses, nterior windshield pillar and header trim, ear window trim, eather seat covers and foam, nd every last piece of weather strip. It has all new clips, prings, etainers, nd screws throughout, nd every new part is either OEM or an exact replica if the OEM is not available. The only part I do not have is the wind shield. The original matching numbers motor is on a stand, nd I have most of the original parts that were removed and replaced. I have receipts for everything and took many photos along the way. The car starts and drives, owever, he new interior and a lot of detail work still needs to be completed. I’ve invested a ridiculous amount of money in this car (more than I willget out of it). The car was originally white, nd at this point it would be pretty easy to change it back. I have the original jack and owners manual, s well as shop and assembly manuals. The new parts I listedare far fromthe complete list. Whoever buys this car will need a flatbed as well as a pickup to haul everything I've included. If its Vette related, t goes with. The new motor is a 5.7 liter with 4-bolt mains (keep in mind, t was new 10 + years ago). With the new carb, ntake, nd ignition,it really moves out (much more than the under-powered V-8's of the mid-seventies). I put the matching numbers engine on a stand because it looked bad, eeded rebuilt, and was kind of gutless even when new.Due to health issues I will likely never use the car, hich is why I’m selling it.
