Very nicely done 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hardtop.
Owned by the same person from 1988-2014.
Fully restored with roughly 2,500 miles since done. Always garage kept and never driven in the rain since the restoration was done.
There are a lot of new parts on this car, ncluding: New radiator, ew gas tank, ew floor pans--super solid underneath with no rust. Solid inner rocker panels, ody braces, nd floor pans.
All new trim with NO dents, ings, itting, tc. All new chrome grille, ead light bezels, ark light bezels, umpers, hood emblem, ood bird, ail light bezels, el Air trim, eck lid trim, fuel door trim.
The wheels are American Racing 15" Torque Thrust D's, ith new tires (205/65 & 235/70) that have less than 500 miles on them.
The engine is a very strong running 350 bored .030 over (355 cubic inch) w/mild camshaft. It has and Edelbrock intake, delbrock 600cfm carburetor with an electric choke, delbrock valve covers and air cleaner. It also has long tube headers with dual exhaust and all of the ignition is Mallory (distributor, oil).
The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic that shifts nice and firm.
It has been upgraded to power steering and has new manual front disc brakes with drum rear brakes and all new brake hoses front & rear.
The upholstery is a brand new custom interior in black naugahyde with new black carpet, ll new dash trim, hrome garnish moldings, hrome headliner bows, ew speedometer, ew aftermarket radio that looks original with new 6x9 speakers in deck panels, ll new chrome door handles, indow rollers, all new weatherstripping, nd leather wrapped steering wheel.
All of the gauges, urn signals, peedometer, ead lights, ail lights and brake lights work.
The body has really nice original quarter panels, he car is very straight down both sides and the paint is what I would consider decent driver quality that looks to be around 10 years old. It has some imperfections here and there.
We recently drove the car on a 120 mile round trip with no issues whatsoever.
All of the windows roll up and down perfectly and the hardtop door flappers work perfectly.
