Up for sale we have a 1967 Chevy Chevelle SS. This was the last year for this body. Not a lot of changes were made from the ’66 model. Up front they gave it a new grill. The tail panels were changed and they also moved the back up light to the bumper. The one we are offering is a true SS with the 138 Vin. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd heartbeat of the Chevy, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, hat’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. When you walk around it you will see a solid and straight body. The panels line up good and all the gaps look good as well. It has the SS hood and Trim and at the time of the resto they installed new bumpers as well as other chrome. Everything is covered in the Marina Blue Paint that is base coat clear with a slick finish and deep shine. All the stainless shows well as does the glass. It appears to have new weather stripping and window seals. Also it has the dual mirrors that were optioned in ’67. The final exterior touch is the set of 15x7 Rallys with Red Line Tires.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the Super Sport. The interior is done in classic black with bucket seats. The seats are covered in the correct vinyl covers. It has the console with the clock mounted in it along with the 4 Speed Shifter. All the stainless top trim is good along with the headliner. The carpet and door panels are also good. The dash looks as it did when new with the factory AM Radio and Stock Steering Column.
Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s clean and neat. The engine is a ’71 Model 402 V8 that has an Aluminum Intake and Holley Carb. The valve covers are chrome and are the stock style as is the Chrome Air Filter. The trans is a M20 Four Speed with a 12 Bolt Rear End that is not a Posi. The exhaust flow through a set of stock manifolds and dual exhaust. This SS has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. When you look under the floors all look good. They are solid and clean with the frame being good as well.
