Up for sale is a beautifully finished 1970 Chevrolet C10 Pickup. It is an original v8, anual transmission truck. It has recently been restored and customized. Below is list of work completed, arts used, nd modifications done to create this beautiful truck!
Exterior - The exterior of the truck had no rust to begin with. It was soda blasted down to bare metal, moothed out and body worked to a laser straight finish. it received a custom "patina" paint job and cleared in a matte clear coat. The truck shows "wear" in common areas natural patina would be. You will see hints of white, lack, nd "rust" colors underneath the brilliant metallic blue. The engine bay was finished in a gloss clear coat for some contrast and a clean look under the hood.
Interior - The truck has a new carpet kit installed, ew door panels were fabricated and wrapped in black carpet, he seat was recently reupholstered in a factory like fashion with black vinyl outers and grey cloth inners. The dash pad has been reupholstered in black vinyl since the pictures were taken. The factory gauges were removed and replaced with Equus white face illuminated gauges. A 3inch RPM gauge is mounted to the steering column for easy viewing. A Vintage 3 spoke steering wheel was installed. The metal portions of the door panels feature patina to match the exterior. The Dash was finished with gloss clear coat, s well as the roof, pillars and b pillars, or a clean look and some contrast. Custom 3 Tone Keith Collins Floor Mats Finish off the interior. A Hurst Indy Shifter was installed as well.
Bed- The bed was sprayed in a Line-x Material and Color matched to the rest of the vehicle. The bed was raised 2 inches to accommodate the needed clearance for the rear axle. The Bed slats came off a 1950s stake bed farm truck, nd are nicely weathered to complete the exterior theme.
Suspension - Many Balljoints, ushings, nd bearings were replaced with new units. The front and rear feature air springs to allow your choice of ride height. The front and rear feature 2500lb air springs. A small C notch was installed in the rear for extra suspension travel. A Viair Compressor and 5 gallon tank are located underneath the bed. Manual Valves and switches control height, nd 2 gauges show you air pressure. 2 switches for simple use, ront and rear. Much of the suspension was painted a deep gloss black. New shocks were also installed at all 4 corners. Truck rides amazing!
Engine - A recently rebuilt 350 v8 was painted and installed in the truck, nd has less then 5000 miles on it. Everything was painted a nice gloss red. The engine features a mild cam, delbrock intake and carburetor, hrome valve covers, hrome long tube headers, nd more. All new fluids in it. Runs perfect, lenty of power, ounds amazing! The 350 is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission with a Hurst Indy Shifter.
Glass - All original glass was used on the truck and remains in good condition. New rubber for windshield, ear window, ide windows, nd doors was installed after paint. New window Felt as well. The window tint on rear window has since been removed since these photos were taken.
Wheels are 18inch Centerline Billet Wheels in great condition. No major damage at all. Still have a great shine, ut could use a quick polish. Tires are in great condition as well, ith only a few thousand miles on them.
The Chrome on the truck is still in great shape. The front bumper is in excellent condition, hile the door handles show minor pitting. The chrome near the wing windows show some age, nd have minor rust. I chose to leave them as they fit the theme of the truck well. I do have the rear bumper for the truck, prefer the look of it without the bumper. I can install for buyer if desired and will include in the sale.
The only work a potential buyer may want done to the truck is to have speakers installed. I have a pair of new Kicker 6x9 3 way speakers I will include with the vehicle. You will need enclosures for them. The exhaust also needs finished, he truck currently runs the long tube headers, ut no mufflers. I have a set of used Flowmaster mufflers I was going to use that I will include in the sale, ut honestly It sounds very mean without exhaust and I chose to leave it as is. I have the collectors/Flanges for the exhaust and will include in the sale.
Besides Speakers and Exhaust the truck needs nothing. It runs amazing, lutch is nice and tight and rear end is geared well for motor/trans/wheels. It turns heads everywhere and get stopped for pictures and questions everywhere I take it. New owner will be proud and excited to cruise it to local shows and meets! Lots of time and money has been invested into this truck over the last few years and the quality of work will last for many more years to come.
