Up for auction is my 1964 chevelle 2 door hardtop. I have clear Indiana title in hand.
This car does not run, t is a good solid car for a restoration or possibly get it running as is.
This car was a victim of a break-in where someone destroyed the dash, ipped out the ignition, nd still could not get it started. Then it was hit by flood water in 2008. The motor is stuck but I am not sure about the transmission.
The body is very solid with only a hole in the drivers floor. It has all of the glass and the windows roll up and down but the drivers window track will need some work. The hood hinges will need replaced as one is starting to crack.
It was originally a 283 with powerglide. Currently it has a 283 out of a 1964 elcamino and a TH400 transmission. The original cross member was used for the 400, ust moved back to accommodate the larger transmission.
It also has the original 10 bolt rear housing, ut now has a 4:10 auburn locker.
It has the factory drum brakes on all corners with stainless brake lines.
It has 3" Hooker super comp headers wrapped with heat wrap and 2-1/2" flowmaster exhaust.
It also has a MSD ignition, urst dual shifter, ro comp tach, nd Howe aluminum radiator.
There is no interior but I will include the original rear seat that needs redone and a pair of buckets out of a 64 elcamino that you can use for the frame.
I will also include the factory assembly manual, he original owners manual, serial number cross reference book, he original options sheet, nd the original owner protection plan book.
