The Quadra-jet carb was removed and replaced with a Holley to start the car. Both the Holley and Quadra-jet carb will come with the car. After all the work was completed, he car started right up and now runs just like a 454 LS5 should.
- The original numbers matching engine runs and drives excellent.
The 454 is pad stamped with the last four are 7CRT. The pad also has the correct VIN stamping of 10A166131.
The Quadra Jet carb is stamped 7040200 which is correct for a 1970 Chevelle SS 454.
The original air cleaner is missing.

The original numbers matching M22 four-speed shifts smooth, nd firm. The tag reads 976766WO which is also correct for this car.
Original 12-bolt 331 posi-traction rear. The code is CRV.
- The fender, oor and lower rear quarter where re-sprayed at some point.
Driver’s side rear lower quarter will need some work. The rear deck lid has dings.
The car appears to have been dealer undercoated. There are no visible holes in the floorboards or trunk area.
The car still has the original Magnum 500 wheels. The tires (G60-14) have good tread and look to be vintage 70’s and from that time period.
- The front driver-side seat has two tears. The front passenger-side seat has one small minor split at a seam but is, therwise, n very good condition.
The rear seats are in very good condition.
Original headliner is still in excellent condition.
The dash has a small crack in it over the driver-side speaker.
The door panels are in good condition.
The carpet is all original and very presentable.
The Tachometer window is cracked and is missing a piece of plastic.
It has the desired gauge cluster with the tach and clock.
The cowl induction hood scoop and tachometer work.
The lights, urn-signals, nd fuel-gauge work as they should and the buzzer still goes off when you open the door.
