Up for your consideration is this 1987 Chevy SS El Camino.

I am selling this car for a good friend of 43 yrs. He has hadthis car for the last 10years.This senior owned El Camino has'nt beendriven much in the last few years. Being a mechanic by trade,he gave it some upgrades andthe mechanicalattention it needed over the few years to make it the nice driver it is right now. Also it is apparent that the previous owners have taken care of it also. This El Camino would be an excellent choice for restoration.

HISTORY IS AS FOLLOWS

This car has been a project on going up until just recently. It is an original black with red interior. The GM 350 that is in it now is a 4 bolt main truck motor. Not sure of the year but has less than 50,000 mi. The transmission was professionally rebult 2,500 miles ago. This car runs good and could be driven home.

Description Is As Follows

The body is solid NORUSTas is the undercarraige and frame. Wheel wells are also solid. There was a dent in the drivers doorand was patched with fiberglass. Paint is not original and is fair to good. No major dents. Chrome and trim is good.The bed is solid with a recent mat. All the glass is good. The interior seats and carpet are somewhat sunfaded but in nice shape for its age. No rips, ears or burns. Dash is NOT cracked. All the lights work. Additional Information

Recently it has had a new rebuilt two barrel carburator installed (as the seals from the old 4 barrel were shot). It has a manual choke. The car rides and drivesgood. It also has a great sound thanks to the dual Flowmaster exhaust and a mild cam. It also has a trailer hitch and wiring harness.The sound system has be upgraded to an AM-FM Panasonic CD player with removable face plate. It will come with the oweners manual.Also it has some paperwork and documentation on the repairs. Being a mechanic the owner has kept it a good driver. Hegave it the necessary attention mechanically as needed to keep it safe and dependable. Good front end, ires and shocks. Recent front end work and alighnment.It has a newer battery, new radiator overflow reservoir. The car has power steering, rakes, ocks and windows. This El Camino came from the factory with air and cruise control, either of which is operational. No air compressor and set up on current motor, he cruise control is intact but would need to be retrofittedto the newer motor. My friend is selling the car to get a different project. ITEMS THAT NEED ATTENTION OR FIXING. THIS CAR HAS NO DOOR KEY. To the best of my knowledge this cars only other non working items are the gas gauge and horn, hich he said is an easy fix and should have it working by the time you pick it up.
