Up for sale we have a 1966 Chevy C10. They started in 1960 with this body and gave it the new C10 name. The ’66 year marked the end of this body. We purchased this ’66 from the person who had it built. He drove this tuck in high school and after getting married he sold it in ’82. In 2004 he found the person still had it so he got it back and set out to build a top of the line truck. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd heartbeat of the Chevy, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of the C10. The cab and bed was pulled off the frame and work began. The cab had the seams welded up and the drip rails removed. The bed had the stake holes in the top of it removed and welded in a roll pan. Everything was then primed to ensure a laser stragith body. The color they went with is a red form a ’66 Chevelle. After many coats of Dupont Base the clear was sprayed. To keep some of the stock look he kept the chrome grill and bumpers along with the outside door handles. As with any good build they installed new glass and all the trim. All the weather stripping was also replaced. When you look in the bed it has the White Oak floors with the stainless strips. They had to raise the center of the bed to allow for the Air Ride, nd they also used stainless bolts for the rear fenders and floor.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the Pick Up. One this it was all done by Kirks Custom Upholstery. The dash was shaved to add new moon eye black faced gauges. Between the Cerallo Buckets is a custom water fall console. In the console is the vintage Heat and A/C controls, ir Ride Controls, nd the CD player. To keep the dash clean they also moved the lights and wiper switches to the console. The seats and door panels are covered in Nut Brown Leather with the Carpet being Daytona Brown. To wrap up the interior it has a Tilt Ididit Column with a Billet Wheel that’s wrapped in leather as well.
Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s all trimmed in body color with the firewall being slicked. The engine is a 327 V8 that was built with a Lunati Cam with Ported and Polished Heads. It’s dressed with a Polished Intake, alve Covers, nd Breather. They used a Polished Water Pump and Aluminum Pulleys. The Alternator and AC Compressor are also polished. The sound comes from the Sanderson Coated Headers with a set of Hugh Power Mufflers by Flow Master. The engine is mated to a 700R Trans and a 12 Bolt Rear end with a 373 gear. This truck has Power Steering and the Brakes were upgraded to Power Four Wheel Baer Disc Brakes with 12 ¾” Rotors up front and 13” in the rear. The frame was boxed from the cab back. Up front it has 2” drop spindles with Air Ride Technologies with Air Ride out back and it has Firestone 2500 Bags. The cab was coated and then painted body color. The frame is done in black and it has a custom fuel tank with the filler in the floor of the bed.
