Up for sale today is a Laser straight 1968 Chevy Nova. This car is all original and uncut with the exception of the panel for the rear seats which has a cutout for a 12" woofer and then there are cutouts on either side for (2) 6X9 speakers. This car was that way when purchased in 1992, have since then added my own personal sound system which can be found under the fiberglass hood.
This Nova has a fresh 427CI professionally built 13:5:1 439 stroker engine, ourtesy of Sam Odom(owner of S&M machine shop Macon,GA & professional drag racer). This balanced and blueprinted engine features: BME aluminum rods, iesco pistons, unati full roller cam, unati roller rockers, ace prepped Chevy iron heads with large valves, 150 Dominator carb, CI built Turbo 400 w/reverse valve body, " 5500 stall torque converter, 56 posi 10-bolt rear, nd more!! This not a toy!!
This car has never been raced only tested a few times on the street since built, honestly couldn't tell you how fast this current setup is. I will say I have had my share of 10 sec street cars and this car will blow the doors off of any street car I have ever driven. It's at worst a mid to low 9 sec machine and that's withoutnitro which it is more than capable of handling.
It's been a while since I looked at my build sheet but the engine was estimated to be 650+ HP. I will provide more details upon request but don't want to disclose to many details, live in a racers town and if I ever decided to race it at the track I don't want all my secrets leaked
Thanks for stopping by.
